Yield-to Worst (YTW)
Definition
(Expression) A compound yield expressed as a percentage which is used to compare one bond to another. It is a statement of the worst yield possible on a bond investment if the bond is called away early.Usage: The yield-to maturity on this bond is 4.5% in 2024, but the yield-to-worst is 3.75% to the call in 2015.
